Introducting the ASUS EEE PC 1008HA 'Seashell'. ASUS has taken one of nature’s most beautiful designs and combined it with the latest in ultra portable technology to provide consumers with the most stylish Eee PC yet.
Weighing just 2.4lbs the Eee PC Seashell is a highly portable companion that is equipped with a 10.1-inch display, an ergonomically designed 92% keyboard, an intelligent energy management system and an intuitive multi-touch touch-pad. The Eee PC 1008HA Seashell aims to provide the user with the best mobile computing experience, wherever your journey takes you.
With a design inspired by a seashell the Eee PC 1008HA is enveloped in an opalescent glossy exterior created using In-Mold Roller technology. The EEE PC 1008HA is not only a head-turner wherever it goes, but also serves as a protective shell providing scratch resistance for day-to-day durability. Like the light sprinkling of fine sand on the exterior of a seashell, the lid is graced with tiny reflective specks which glisten in the light, adding the crowning touches to an already exquisite design.
Designed for Mobility and Long Computing Hours, the ASUS-engineered Super Hybrid Engine (S.H.E) provides the Eee PC 1008HA with up to 6 hours of battery life. The Super Hybrid Engine intelligently monitors the programs being used and deploys just the right amount of power required, all the while conserving battery life by constantly making adjustments between performance and power.
